Mike, I hear the Cap X is tail heavy w/ 2 - 5945s in the tail for elevator. What do you think about running 5975 back there @ 6V? I read on you site the 5975 puts out 109oz/in..... Sounds like enought, but want to make sure.

Plane is 11# w/ saito 1.80. I fly crazy 3D.

I want max elevator power, but I don't want to add 8oz up front to balance the 5945s.

Thanks,
Drew

The 5975 and 5945's weigh nearly the same to the best of my knowledge.

1.76 v. 1.97 - not much, but every little gram counts in the tail when you are tail heavy.

All right then, nearly 1/2oz difference... Power wise I don't think its an issue. The gear train should be fine as well.

I assume the RX battery will be as far forward as possible?

You might also consider the mid-size digitals on the stabs. I have owned several 80" models with these on stabs without issue...
