Status: offline 		I was hoping someone can give me some insight in salvaging the good cells from bad packs and making a usable pack.

I have two 8 cell Nimh 800mah packs (Hobby People Wattage packs) that just won't perform. I borrowed a watt meter at the field and the packs drop to the 5 volts cutoff (at 7 A) in about 30 seconds. These packs are maybe 6 months old with only around 20 or so flights on them. I'm pretty sure one or more of the cells are bad. I have a newer pack (same specs) that so far is working fine. This motor/battery/prop/gearbox combo is from a Livewire that I changed to LiPo and Razor brushless setup so I'm sure that the combo is matched ok.

So when I take the pack apart, what do I look for? Can I use just a volt meter to find the bad cell(s) or do I have to do some sort of capacity testing of each cell?
Any help would be appreciated.
