adam, do you have you heard any rumors how this engine performs? 5 port? 7 port? top-end or low end performer? Is it supposed to be an all around engine? Then again, it's not an RB so why bother right? ... [:)]

I too am feeling left out as I too bought a Rex P5 already. Maybe it's just the "new factor"...

i think it has a aluminum sleeve that sucks. they offer it in novarossi "purple head" and top "black head". teamtrinity.com and parisracing.com

the engine in the pic has just been fitted to my MBX5[;)]
i'm just waiting for my glowstarter to charge so i can start running it in[:o]
its got a chromed brass liner with 8 transfer ports & 3 exhaust ports so it should last & go reasonably well[8D]
this is my first non RB engine purchase for a while so i hope i'm not going to be too disappointed?

i didn't want to take the WS7II out of my K2 as its only on its 4th tank[8|]
i wanted to test the mugen a bit more now i've removed all the carbon towers etc & bolted in a bit of strength[;)]
got the full list of Factory hopups on there now[8D]
who knows? it might even finish a meeting now[:)]

Just got my P5!!![:D]
I never tried comparing pipes, but I bought a Sirio EFRA 2008. Anyone know if it's good? is it a low or top end pipe?

Adam, is the O ring between the head button and block, or between the button and cooling head?
I've also been told the case, crank, and carb are the same as a 14 mm P5. Details man, we want details. Any idea when/where it will hit the US?

the O ring is between the bottom of the heatsink & the top of the block, its just to keep dirt etc away from that area[;)]
the bottom end is the same as the P5 with a 16.26 bore & a 16.8mm stroke, same crankcase & carb etc!
the main differences are the more agressively ported liner & the turbo head button[;)]
i'm guessing it'll be like a P5 only better, more top end[:D]

put 5 tanks through on Saturday & it still sticks at TDC[X(]
i'll run a couple more tanks next Sat then i'm racing it next Sunday[;)]

i liked the sound of the 421 so much i ordered another one today[8|] not even raced my first one yet[8|]
got the Novarossi one coming this time with a 53 pipe[;)]
what is the 53 pipe like in comparison to the RB pipes?
i've only ever used the 63 & 86 pipes from RB before!

Last i heard it was supposed to be in the US NLT 2/15/04, but so far everyone I've found that will be stocking it is saying it's on backorder. Not a bad price from Japan though. I've been quoted as low as $249 and as high as $335.

i have had a race meeting in newcastle (new south wales, australia) and in qualifing i was using a rb worlds 1 and i was just a bit slower than the fastest time. In the final i put my dads nova rossi s421b and it was excellent i was actully 1 second a lap quicker than the fastest guy out there

Almost forgot. I've never tried a 53 pipe, but I've got a couple of friends that run them and they say it's better bottom than the 63, but not as much top as the 86.
Also. Adam, have you looked at the sleeve in the Novarossi? On their (Novarossi) official web site they say the 421P has an aluminum sleeve.

Yeah I saw that too, but if you look at the pdf file, the sleeve pictured is brass.
