Just found this thread and appreciate all the info.

I just picked up a Combat Models F-16N kit but it didn't have the video. Can anyone help me out with a copy or a loan of the build video? I have the instruction manual and it refers a lot to the video. I would be happy to provide instruction manual info to anyone who needs it.

I will pay for video costs, shipping, whatever will help.

    Thanks!
    Larry

Has anyone flown these from a grass runway? Any issues with clearance when it 'rotates' on take off?

I've got my OPS ready to install. This model will be my turbine trainer (for a long time)

I have to figure out how much of the rear underside to cut away in order to get and and do all the pipe fixings. if i cut a lot out, should I make formers to re enforce the "pipe bay"?

Formers should not be needed--- I had an access hatch right where the pipe was mounted and never had a problem...

9x10 eh? Sounds pretty cool- What numbers you gettin' with that combo?

    Keep us posted, looks awesome!

    Hi Guys,

I have also purchased a CBM F-16N kit a year ago, and i plan to use a Jett 50L engine with a perry fuel pump. I need to know what are the best reatract unit that i could use on this airplane, i purchased the complete kit that it is supposed to come with the retracts and they were never provided by CBM (neither did the carbon fiber cloth and fiberglass cloth). So i dont know if any robart 3 gear 60 size aircraft neumatic retract unit would fit well and also how is it better to improve the gear doors settings described in the manual.

    Thanks,

    Alfredo.
