Status: offline 		Hi guys, I got ahold of this charger, and now want to see if i can charge my gws 8.4v / 600 mAh Ni-Mh battery for my dragonfly heli with it. I want to quick charge it but dont know what could happen to the battery. what settings should I use? how many cells? 500 or 1000 ma rate? how do I know it would blow up my house trying to charge my battery. and also, could i trickle charge it thru the night without the battery being damaged.. please help. Thanks!

Status: offline 		8.4vlt would be a 7 cell(1.2vlts per cell)
600ma (.6a)would charge a 600mah batt in 1 hour
2x that would do it in 1/2 hour

using a 2x capacity charge is as fast as you should charge nmh batts

Status: offline 		1000ma setting should charge your batt just fine in about 35-40 mins
