Yes it was. One of the posters was getting too confrontational so I chose to delete the entire thread since it was going nowhere. Since I have administrator privileges and this forum is to help Hitec customers and not to argue semantics’, I may choose to delete threads I feel are not productive.

All I can tell you is that Hitec builds our own equipment. Do you see any other receivers on the market that look like the 555 or Super Slim? As for the Supreme... The bottom line is it is well known that it is a far better receiver than the Futaba for range and durability.

Thanks Mike, I knew it was a superior receiver. I was hoping you would set THAT individual straight. He brought the issue up on numerous occasions and his stance was since they used the same chipset they were identical Futaba and World Engines used the same chips in their encoders in the early 80s and they were FAR from IDENTICAL.
I have modified a few Supremes for 50 Mhz and they are excellent receivers.
