max power@rpm? higher the number the better?

max rpm @seconds? whats better 15000 rpm @3.1 sec or 22000 @4.9 sec

max torque ? higher the better?

max effcy @rpm? higher the better?

Status: offline 		Max power@rpm is telling you what the maximum horsepower was and the rpm it was turning when the horsepower peaked.

Example: At 15,000 rpm’s the engine put out 1.3 hp. At 15,500 rpm’s it put out 1.5 hp. At 16,000 rpm’s it put out 1.4 hp. At 16,500 it put out 1.2 hp. By this example you see how the engines power peaked at 15,500 rpm’s and started dropping off anything past that. So 1.5 hp@15,500 would be the max power@rpm.

Max torque@rpm is the same as the above but shows you the engines torque as oppose to the horsepower (Horsepower is a calculation of torque).

Max efficiency I’m not too sure about. Sounds like it may be a division between the two readings (horsepower and torque) to give an rpm found in the middle of those two numbers. (Don’t hold me to that by no means).

Max rpm@seconds has me stumped. Since the fantom dyno uses an inertia wheel (which I’m not too familiar with) as oppose to a loading brake system like conventional automotive engine and chassis dyno’s (which I am familiar with), I really don’t know. Unless it has something to do with peak rpm and freewheel or something (like when the engine will no longer turn the wheel any faster) but dunno.

The higher the power (horsepower and torque) at the lowest rpm is what we’re looking for primarily.

I’ve included a chassis dyno run graph for a visual about the hp/torque and their peaks at what rpms.

I do have a question, how much did it cost you and is there anything you have to build yourself? I mean did you just buy the electronics and the plans for the rest of the stuff or were you able to buy the whole kit-n-kaboodle?
