I'll have to take pictures of the assembly manual and the post it here. I remember back then there was an individual here selling a similar hovercraft in the seller's area of this forum.

Okay, decided to post my boats here as well... but don't expect them to stay in their current state for too long!

My recently completed Dumas Lil Swamp Buggy powered by a Cox Surestart .049. Coated with epoxy finishing resin and painted with Lustrekote. Not a speedster, but good old fashioned simple RC fun.

Thanks! My dad is also finishing one. We plan to run them at the local bayou where my dad and son will do most of the driving and I'll take care of pitting duties on the Cox engines and run the video camera. I'm an avid rc plane builder and have lots of Cox engines and parts on hand so it made sense to utilize them on something different that other family members can enjoy with me.

Now it's getting more interesting. We just finished my Dad's Lil Swamp Buggy. He built it and I installed the engine and all the goodies that make it work. Got everything fuel-proofed and ran the engine in this evening. It is his 1st real RC model. He chose to leave off the paint and go for the traditional wood look with a resin finish. We hope to get them both on the water at the same time in the next few days with him and my son at the controls. All this time spent fooling with boats and getting back out to the water has renewed my interest in RC boating. I had a couple of them 20 yrs ago. Soooo..... I just ordered a new Aquacraft Nitro Supervee 27 to spice up our trips to the water and it should get around pretty quickly compared to the Cox-powered airboats. I love building and flying model planes but needed a little diversion to keep my perspective on life.

Go Lil' Swamp Buggy!

Some more pics taken during today's outing. Both airboats ran well and other than a couple of collisions, it was uneventful. It was my dad's 1st real rc modeling experience and he did very well. Well worth the effort to build and run them.

LOTS of nice lookin swamp buggies!!!!! Here's mine (Some of you have may have seen it). I haven't used it much, It pulls to the right once in a while I was told I should add some left thrust? I was thinking of adding a turn fin? (not good for in the snow though). What should I do? to fix the pull? Its a BSB with a 91fx (LOTS OF PULL)

That is a beautiful boat, kfla! Nice aluminum parts. I think my little .049-powered version would tremble in it's presence.

Thanks Guys RS 38 40 I made that engine stand out of 1/8 alum. and lightened it every where I could, I even hollowed out the 1/2" sq. stock except where the screws thread in or pass through.(I don't think it's flexing) I'll have to get a video of it. NOW FOR YOU FLY BY 01 That's AWESOME!!! I have a NOS Prather pirahna out rigger that I should turn into something like yours I like the ability to slide the motor for and aft untill you find the sweet spot! Your giving me ideas (But then again my main hobby is RC planes and I have a basement full of planes (some NIB) and about 12 NIB motors. and a new house, with alot of land. That leaves me with NO TIME, only IDEAS
