Seaplane Forum members....

....don't forget to list your Events....no matter how small, or localized they
may be in the...."Events, Shows and Fun Fly's - Airplanes" Forum.... ....

....also, you should list them in the calender section on the RCU homepage.

Dave, I have posted our "18th Annual London Bridge Seaplane Classic" on the event calender, is there another location where I should post this information also? Information about this Southwest Premier Float Fly Event can be found on two web sites, www.savagewings.com and www.havasufloatfly.com This is an AMA sanctioned event.

What goes with this Havasu float fly??SURE IS A BIG SECRET!Went tothe calendar and found it there did get a page with dates but site they say for it is like all the others needs a password to get into for more info!!Wouldn't care if only driving up for the day but was planning on staying a few days and don't like to drive up there and find nothing!!I remember earlier in the year seeing a site that gave info, camping etc, told about what was at site etc now someone has made all these site off limits to interested people!!Lets make the info available if the event is still on or let us know if it has been canceled again as in the past!!!

Aparently there has been some confussion with a second unofficial website. I just got off the phone with the beachmaster and the float fly is good to go this weekend, no changes. Two contact numbers: Gary Bennett 928-453-1501, George Field 928-855-1197. The official net site is: http://www.deserthawksrc.com/ along with all the info as well as pictures of last years event and site pictures of the new site for this year. This site is fully accessable.

Folks a little after the fact but we recently did an indoor float fly for lightweight electrics. Quite a different venue to say the list but had a ball. No wind, no rain, no weather to worry about. Had a ball. Follow thread for details: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=312612 . Ed LMRA Aeromodelers

ED, looks to have been an outstanding event, the photos are certainly outstanding as well. Would love to be able to participate in such a venue.

Thanks for the photos
