1 x 1500 3 cell LiPo 2 x 600mah 2 cell LiPo Small LiPo speed controller for a brushed motor? Naff brushed motor and gearbox (Standard Ikarus Shock Flyer - Will Prop hang for about 2 mins with the 600mah packs) 4 x 9g servos Lightweight rx
Not fussed what I go for as long as it is extreme - could be bigger than a Shock flyer . Would prefer to use the 1500 pack instead od the 600s. Should I go brushless? If so which motor and controller? what do you do about a BEC when using lithiums. I'm worried about over discharging them.

my friend made a 36" ( i think it was 36) yak and extra from depron and used a gws 350c d gearing with an 11x4.7 prop with a 3 cell 1500 lipo, it flew really nice
the 3 cell will burn out the 350c motor, you need D gearing and an 11x4.7 prop or smaller to keep the amps down, you also need to use good throttle management and keep away from full throttle for more then a few seconds..the motor will still not last as long on this setup vs a 2 cell, but the motors are only $12 to replace
if you dont mind spending money id get a brushless with a gearbox
Alex - Thanks for the links. I'm gonna order one first thing in the morning if I can find stock in the UK. Have decided to go for a axi 2212/34 and a jeti 18-3p Cheers neil
