You must have a severe problem with patience. You have way too much of it!

Beautiful work.

Hey, I've been lookin in & saw your B-24 & would like to say good job. My grandfather flew the B-24 & I think its the most forgotten airplanes used in WW2. Anywho, just wonderin if you have made anymore progress on your plane?

I am using century jet main retract units, robart struts and homemade nose gear. I have pics of the gear on the first page of my posts. I could not live with the non scale nose gear from century jet and robart had not made any yet.

I consider my self a craftsman but you really have impressed my with this bird so far. I love the detail you are putting into it. I am building a giant scale Corsair and plan to have lots of detail as well. I am wondering if after I get done will I have the guts to fly it.

I just never seem to have any time to workon it anymore. I am restoring a 106 year old house, work, kids, ball games. I flew three times last year and have not even flown this year yet. I would rather see someone get it who will use it.

I have two friends that built the Don Smith Mosquito. They are master builders. They said never again. The fuse was OK. But if they had started on the wing first they would have thrown it out. The Mosquito flew well but had an engine out and crashed recently. The fuse is Ok from mid spar rearward. I am going to draw my own wing on compufoil and rebuild it in the future...

It really depends how bad you want it. If you want it real bad its easy, I f you don't its real hard. For the most part I had no trouble. He does leave notes on the plans to answer some questions. I have had alot of people say his plans are not very good. I build his B-17 and now the liberator and have his BF110 plans. How much build time do you have? I also cut my own parts. buying a cut kit makes it eaiser.

This post is great! Why would anyone build a B-25 when they could build a B-24? Once I finish the project I have started I will start a B-24. I'm gonna cheat a little and build one from Bob Neider at American Eagle. The fuselage is laid up fiberglass which will make my building a little easier. Just imagine what 4 RCV-60s will sound like.
