Thanks for the complement two stroker. I took some pics of my duster but the were kind of blurry. My set up came from just playing around with different ideas until I got the result I wanted. I have a servo mounted forward on the reserviour with the arm coming out of the bottom of the wing. The door swings down under the wing. The hopper is made to come of so the arm from the servo snaps on to the door. I also have two layers of wing saddle tape between the door and the bottom of the wing to help it seal. the photo above was my first test run with baby powder. It also shows up pretty good with flour. I am going to try to draw out what I did on paper so people can understand what I did since I didn't plan on anyone being interested on how I did it. Here are the blurry pictures for now.

Hi AT401b, Thanks for the compliment. I have to go start work on that website some time again, nothing been don for a year on it. My vision for the future is that webpage to be some sort of home for all cropdusters, so bassicly al cropdusters owners collected there. So as soon as that happens, I'll be back to you (and all others on this forum) for more pics and details.

Ben

I see somebody's name and a certain Thrush in todays AMA mag I received.

Just to correct the caption, page 19, in the Model Aviation, it's powered by a Saito 1.80 and the item on the right is the oil cooler. The static judges seemed to think the weathering and detailing is a bit improved from TG '03 when the previously posted photos were taken. Also, if you're wondering, the item on the left (under the right wing) is a wind driven air conditioner compressor. The wind driven spray pump can be seen spinning between the L/G struts on page 23.

No, I don't have plans available for either size or version. Sorry!

Has anyone written New Zealand Aero Products for a catalog? I have done many searches for any info on these kits and can not find a thing. It was some time ago that I did see the kits, sizes, and models available but I can not find them now. If anyone has a link, email, or any information please let me know.

The address to these kits is

I'm new to RC Universe. I found this thread while surfing RC crop dusters and thought I'd let you guys know I'm building a Pawnee Brave for electric. It'll be 71"ws. Link to RC Groups: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=259657 . Well,... I'm drawing the plans now. I can't start it till summer is over Sept 1st I really appreciated reading your experiences dropping spray,... I may tackle it too.

Here's my web page with all my planes currently flying. http://mysite.verizon.net/res7oqj1/index.html I'm especially proud of the Turbo Porter. I just flew it this morning,.... Sweet!!!!

Hey guys. I got some pictures of the airtractor that was designed by Duane Habets. He sells plans for people who like to build and He has a kit with fiberglass fuselage, custom landing gear, and foam core wings and tail surfaces. The kit cost $425. Plans with fiberglass cowling and canopy area and landing gear cost $105. The prototype flew with a 2-stroke 108 but he says that all it needs is a 91 4-stroke. Anyone who may be interested feel free to call him at (406) 278-3380. He is also designin the two seat 802 version which He said should be ready this winter.

I just finished my plans today. Boy, I'm not in the same league as you guys with your heavy gas jobs. It's interesting to see the differences. Mine is an all built up structure. I build for fun scale anyways. I increased the size to a 75" ws, chord is 12.25", fuse length is 53". This is just a pic of my inkjet prints (8x11).

I like the way RC Universe attaches photos,... up to 3000KB???!! RC Groups is only 100KB per post.

Hi Guys - Been awhile since anyone has posted. Thanks for the offer 4trax, but I've got to decline.

Happened to have the AT802 in the van this evening and was driving on a new road and happened on to this little airport. So I stopped and ended up introducing myself to the owner. We talked about his planes and mine and he allowed me to take some side by side pics. Now mines an AirTractor and his are Thrush models, but you can see the similarity I think. Very cool little airport and nice op/owner. By the time I left I found out he allows some local guys to come out and use the middle of his paved runway on the weekends when they aren't flying out of it. Said I could come by any time I wanted. Pretty cool, thanks Bob.

Rule two: Fly it until the last piece stops moving.
You know you've landed with the wheels up when it takes full power to taxi.
