Hi guys thanks for your replys
with the 15cc rcgf it flys very scale at about 1/2 throttle
no problems with the balance I have put the ele and rud servos down the back
the mount that I used is just the standard standoffs that came with the engine
the only mod I did was shorten the engine box by a inch
the tailwheel that I used I can't remember
but it was for a 30cc size aircraft and of good quality at around $30 aud

Thought I would post a couple of pics of the tail feathers so far for the Floyd Fitzgerald Ag-Cat. I modified the plans to reflect the extended tail and wings version of the "B" model.

Hello Everyone.

I've enjoyed reading the forum and finally joined.

My question is whether there currently any plans for sale, kits, or ARF for the Thrush Commander?

Many thanks.

Bob

Bob,

I'm sorry to say that there are currently no plans, kits, ARFs, etc. for the Thrush Commander.

I did start drawing up a set of plans a few years ago but never finished. This was for a 108" span model. Recently I've been thinking about drawing up one in 1/12 scale for electric. So maybe I'll get the bug to start back on the large one.

Bob, Just a reminder to go through this whole thread! Wow, such great info here about all crop dusters..Try searching Air TRactor.com for three views of their beautiful planes, which in my opinion are a near match for the "thrush". There is also the fella in North Carolina I think that does two sizes of these and also sells plans only if you wish...Would be a slight kit bash to make them into a thrush...Pat

Hey Airservices, glad to see someone knows what a Ceres is, I also was fortunate to have done some time in one and also the Beaver. The old Ceres I flew is now in the Moorabbin Air Musemeum (Victoria).
Check it out. If you would like me to email some pics I have a few on my file.
