Check out the difference between the stock T-Maxx diff and the Robinson Racing Diffs. There's about twice as much metal in the gear mesh. It looks like you could lock the wheels between two vis-grips, hit the throttle wide open and twist the steel shafts into drill-bits before the diffs would stripout.

I use to take the upper and lower control arms off, then undo all the screws to get to the diffs. But It's alot easyer that than that.

They were about $75. If your running a .21 or up, your going to eventually have to replace the diff ring and pinion gear. You can use the stock one again but it will aventuraly fail. After the .21 conversion kit, I was running the stock diffs for about 1 month before they start to show signs of giving out. I adjusted the sliper gear so that the motor wouldn't put to much power to the drivetrain but still. Now I'm going to readjust the sliper again. Now I don't think you really need to beef up the diffs if your using the small / medium block .21.
