I am working on a .60 size profile with plug in wings, but I am 60 days away. I am always happy to ARF one of my planes for anyone who wants one, but because I dont do volume, I cant be competitive with pricing. Keep an eye out for a post on it in the months to come and if it intrests you let me know. I have no experience with the US aircore planes, but if you go to www.spadtothebone.com there is a section on ARFS.

Here's another post

My 60 size profile plan calls for fully symmetrical wings. The flat wing planes are a ball, but do'nt glide well and I want to try something that flys more like conventional profiles.

Just build a Demon and scale it up 25% in all dimensions. My 48" Demon has a GMS 47 on it and it rips. This scale would give you a 60 " wing and a 37 !/2" fuselage. Should easily handle a 60 size engine. I would use 3 1/2" gutter pipe with lots of lightening holes cut in it with a hole saw and all 4mm coro for wings and tail planes. Come to think of it, I may just do that myself. I've got lots of coro and about 20 feet of 3 1/2" pipe laying out in the garage.
Thanks for the idea, off to the workshop now.
