Ann,
Great job on your first build, the short time and excellent job should inspire many here to do the same. After reading through the thread I have noticed a few things.

I think you have done a lot to repair European/ American relations here on RCU.

A lot of your husbands friends have been stopping over while he is gone.......

I will never feel the same "gratification" building a plane as I used to (unless my wife really, really likes it).

How come Swany never posted a picture in his skivies building a Sledge?

Ann, when the hell are you going to fly the thing? All I ever see is "Ann is building the Burito". When in the world is the building going to end and the flying begin?

to answer all your questions

sweet termagator : no they are no tri stock, the stab is glued with epoxy on the CF spar and top fuse. did I forgot something?

constrictor: the spar is painted and the picture of the painting process is somewhere on this thread. I painted it before instaling it

232cap tain : I will fly it as soon my hubbie is back

this morning I will take care of myself, the sun is shining and I will go outside for some oxygen !

I contacted a good fellow with my problem of radio setup. he says he will come tomorrow evening, but he says that he need some info

he needs the suggested flight controls throw in low and high rate (I duno what it is, I just translate)
he said also he need the suggested position of the CG for battery pack positioning (I don't understand why he need the cg position to secure the battery pack)

this mean I will have to finish the plane for tomorrow !!!

Ann all the info he needs should be on the plans and in the instruction manual. Especially the cg will be indicated on there. Throws will probably be a bit of salmonbug's choice, but i'm sure paul would have given an indication somewhere in the manual. We always use the battery because it is one of the heavier single components in the plane to move the cg around.

Ann, congratulations on a wonderful job of building that Burrito. Your covering job shows that you realy do know what you are doing with a covering iron.

When you are done with the plane, we need a picture of you holding the plane outside. When you take this picture, you need to hold the plane with the bottom side facing the camera, and the nose pointing up, and you should be looking with a blank stare over the the camera person's right shoulder. If you go to the ProBro website gallery, you will see what I mean. This pic is the original requirement for being in the Profile Brotherhood.....

Ann - For throws... Just set the low rate for about 1" travel for the aileron's and elevator, 2" for the rudder. For high rates, set all you can get and dial back from there depending on flying styles and preference.....

Very nice work... I'm soooo proud of you... I'm sure you're husband will be completly blown away!!!

I started covering mine last night. Ann, I wish you were here to cover mine. I am not nearly as talented as you are in the covering area. I was cussing up a storm last night....

Seems like everybody has a Burrito now. I don't know how Swany keeps up with the orders!

To answer everybody

-yes I will take that pic as soon the plane is finish

-no you don't need a heat gun. I have one, but didn't use it on the burrito . you can easy apply multi layers color scheme by either start to work at low temp and the increase gradualy or use the windex trick

I started covering mine last night as well and was also cussing- It has all been pretty easy until now- I was so pissed that I was about to end up with a pile of toothpicks! I finally gave up on it for the night after I stripped several of the pieces more than 2x each- so far I hate covering........... the least fun part of building in my opinion-

NO! it's fun, but this required some training. Once you will get the trick you will be better than termagator !
