That looks awesome Ann... You've done a great job!! I sometimes route my fuel lines under the tank and behind the engine... But I think you'll be fine the way you have 'em....

Thanks for putting a memento of all your fella's on the tail.... Very sweet gesture indeed!!

Ann,

That plane absolutely ROCKS! Great job. I also think that you should be O.K. with the fuel lines where they are. However, when Paul posts his pics, you may decide to alter your setup a bit. Sometimes the engine will start in reverse if flip starting and the lines could get sucked into the prop if too close.

You may have posted the information already, but please let us know the total weight when everything is installed. If my daughter see's this one, she will want mine covered like that. She sends hugs back to your children. When I showed her your post, she asked if they would like to come over to play It took a few minutes to explain the issue of distance....haha. She did come up with a solution though....she said you could all come here on your vacation!!!

Congratulations on the build

John

I just putted the plane on a scale for you with a 900 Mah battery pack and a receiver (the only items missing in it)

the scale show 1.960 Kg that's 69.13 Oz, is that not too heavy ????. everithing is included except the foam to old electronic equipement inside

That's 4.3lbs. I'd say that's pretty good. The manual says 4 to 4.5 pounds.

ok, two more questions, to be able to give my instructions to the guy who come tomorrow

I browse the manual, the plans and paul's site without finding where should be the CG........ I guess the guy who come tomorrow could determine it because that's a real expert (no I am not name placer.......), but I want to be able to say "POSITION IT THAT PLACE "

I would like to know also what is exactly flaperon and spoileron mixing, so I can ask him to program that

I will look very clever !

The CG is on the plans... on the main spar to about 1/2" behind is good....

Flapperon Mixing is when you give up elevator, the aileron's both go down, give down they go up.
