Hi,

I have been using the charger for the past day or two. I need a few clarifications abt the settings from M1-M9. I dont know how to set the C and the D values for a battery.

For eg: for a NiCD 600mA Rx pack. what should the settings be for normal charge and fast charge? Can the fast charge time be varied? Say one setting charges it in 25 mins..can i set it up to safely charge it in 10 mins?

So for a 600mAH battery, from what i understood: C=2.0, D=2.0 and maH is 600? If this is correct, then is this for normal charging of 15 hrs?

If you see i am a little confused. Please tell me abt charging some batteries that i use. I use a 600, 950, 1400, 1650, and 2700. How do i program this charger to charge normally and fast for the above batteries?

Thanks,
Anurag

Your charging too fast for a 600 mah pack, unless the pack has heavy duty wire. The standard wire that comes with a rx pack shouldnt be charged above 1.2 amps.

I charge my 600 mah packs at .5 or .6 and discharge at .3 to .5 amps. If your larger packs have heavy duty wiring you can charge at higher rates. If they have just standard 22 gauge wire you dont want to charge above 1.2 amps. If you charge 2. amps like you mentioned you might burn out or over heat the wire and ruin you battery packs.

2.0 on the Superturbo represents 2 amps. So your charging your pack at 2 amps which is too fast unless you have 12-16 gauge wire on the battery pack.

Hope that helps.
