NYA EDGE 540 33% SCALE (2 BOXES) (HAN1150) This item is currently out of stock $849.99 $849.99 ... That's all that's on Horizon Hobbies website, anyone else have any info. This will be a must purchase for me, been looking for a good 80cc Edge... [:D]

Really? Coooooool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Evertime they release a 33% they seem to discontinue it sooo soon. Love to see new products! David

[:)]I hope so, I couldn't even harrier or do a WALL lol, my walls were followed with a nice crisp snap[:D] I even have it light, 12-1/2lbs with carbon fiber spinner, landing gear, and tailwheel set-up.

Not light enough. Mine came in at 10.7 pounds with a Saito 180. It flew alright. People complained about it not harriering. They werent doing it right. You have to remove a little elevator and it will settle in. Mine had no problem with walls. elevators rocked a lot. And the rudder was not as powerful as I thought it should be. I enjoyed mine till i sold it. I put about 200 flights on it. I have the 1/3 sukhoi now but I would trade it in a heart beat for that new edge

You had the old wing, because the new wing weighed 4lbs! Sorry, but this plane is not good. I can do any 3d manuever with a 20$ foamy and this edge struggled with it. Harrier rolling circles, walls, parachutes, harrier, inverted harrier, torque roll, hover, 4 and 8 point rolls, etc. My edge did beautiful blenders and spins, and can fly IMAC great. However its just a poor 3d machine. A saito 180 is also a lot different in performance from a moki 180

$850 plus hardware...... ouch. Hopefully other distributors will have better pricing. Looking forward to seeing pics of this plane.

Ya, they always do. Look at the new extra, $850 at horizon, $740 at cheif (call them). It might take a few months first tho.

Yeah, Josh's Canon digital video camera[:D]. I got the Canon A70 digital camera which can take movies but no zoom and it just doesn't live up to my specs[:D][:)]. Anyways, to keep on track, I hope the 33% Edge is designed much better then the older edge, which I know it will from the past experience they have with some 4 33% models now?[8D]

With all the great Edge's out there I can't believe this plane will be all that exciting.....I wish they would have went with a Katana, Votex, Yak, or something new....... Pugs

Pugs, there is really only 1 33% Edge out there that I know of and that is Aeroworks. I have had some Aeroworks stuff and I currently have 2 H9 33%ers and I would much rather have the H9. Plus, the AW is over 1k with shipping. Knowing how well the other H9 planes fly I will be happy to see it on the market.

Yeah....I guess I can understand that point.....Most the other GOOD Edge's are in the 35 % range..... Just would have liked to see something new.....know what I mean? :) Pugs

Pugs,I have to agree with you. I think H-9 is a little late on this one. I never really understood that Sukhoi,not that it's a bad plane. I just think there wasn't/isn't much desire for it. The Edge would have done well at that time. I have the AW 33% Edge and think it's a great plane,I would buy another one in a heartbeat. Mike

I think H9 will sell a boat load of Edges. It will be lighter than the Aeroworks by a bunch, and should work very well on an 80 single. Also, being a mid wing, it should be a whole lot easier to fit a tuned can in it.
