Is there any thing in the works to redo the plastic parts in the kit? The wheel pants were so poorly molded that the cut lines are non exsistent and the manual does not explain how to notch the ends of them to accomendate the seam overlap. I cannot see why the inner glue seam was not left entirely on one side of the pants and the outer on the other. It is a real disapointment to see these plastic parts in such a great kit. I personally would not be upset to pay a higher price for the kit and get fiberglass cowls and pants. Thanks in advance, Dave.

P.S. The cowling in the Sea Fury is wonderful. The rumor mill says that this plane is your design work. Any insight on this?

Sorry, not sure why i didnt get notified of this post!

The cap's wheel pants are a re-use of the extra 40s wheel pants (and various other parts). As such, they are a little bit older mold. My apologies for the problems. Sorry, no, i would not anticipate a redo of the mold. BUT have you seen Stan's carbon fiber pants for it? GOD ARE THEY GREAT!!

As far as the sea fury, this one is all Mike's. I wasn't involved in that plane at all. But man is she a sweetheart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Regarding ABS parts, many modelers DO like to use the ABS and so not including them means they would have to buy them separately, and also means higher cost ot them due to lower # of production. Some modelers DO NOT like the fiberglass, and many wont pay the increased cost on a smaller sport model like this. So it is an issue we look at regularly but i can't say if or when it would change.
