Status: offline 		i ordered direct from the site ...but bare in mind it was £63 extra when the postman came....jeesus i try not to think about it.
Ya cant just walk into a shop n buy one, ya have to tell "Dub" what its gonne be used for and the spec.
In my case i had to say i wanted side mounted tuned pipe as otherwise it restricts you to what type of plane itll go in.
Go for it itll make the hairs on ya neck stand up when you hear it wind up.

Status: offline 		im now really considering a 90 for the enforcer but this brickwalling affect does worry me.
In the UK Mr Paul grey has a record of 226mph on a saab gripen ducted fan and that was with the
famous os 91...i wonder what the jett would have produced WOH!

Status: offline 		For those that have not heard of the "Brickwalling effect" ...it means that the wing section is not equal both sides and so as you get up to very fast speeds the air hits the top of the wing so hard as the flow now is not the same both sides and the plane will violently go straight down or up as if its hit a brick wall. Its fine if it goes up but ya have a heart attack if it goes down .....in which this case it did ...theres no time at all to shut down so do it high or find a different wing section pylon racers have this problem from time to time at around 170 mph.

Status: offline 		Here's some shots of my bashed stealth Enforcer. It's about 10 years old and just in for a repaint. Nearly 100 flights, Supertiger 90 pusher, spring air retracts. Flies great and gets a good deal of attention at the field.

Status: offline 		First flight going to be this weekend on my Enforcer and asking for any tips on flying this plane. I have and flown many planes and helicopters, but have never flown a delta wing. Any tips or info you can pass my way?This plane is stock with a OS 61 engine and has a APC 11X7 prop on it. I do fly Quickie 500 for fun at est. speed of 130 mph, so I think I may enjoy this one. What control throws would you recomend?

The Enforcer is a kitty-cat. I started with the recommended throws and increased them after a few flights.

I had a lot of problems with taking off. I used retracts and the nose gear needed to be bent backward (caster) before I wasn't flipping it over on the runway.

I have the Tower .75 with the 11x7 apc. Great combo.

PS Don't forget that there is no rudder when landing. I forgot an did quite a bit of damage the first time. After the rebuild I mixed rudder into the aileron channel - just in case.

You think I should mix rudder into aileron's before or after first flight? I was told this aircraft can land slow and is pretty stable during landing, is this true? Does it lift off the tarmac in a short distance? I am installing a 16 oz bladder tank tonight as the stock one is to small and I trust a bladder tank over any other. If I like playing with this plane, I am going to order a Jett 90 for it. I have a strong interest in having a turbine by next summer.

It does land slow and it is stable. Now that I crashed the first time I doubt if I'll forget that I have no rudder but I like having the rudder mixed into the ailerons. Mine sits nose down a bit so it takes a bit of runway for the rotation... then straight up (if I want).

The Jett .90 would be great...I had one but sold it. You probably know how loud they are... but very powerful.

The Tower .75 turns the 11x7 APC at 14, 700 rpm on 15% CP. Just at 15K on 30%. For $100 bucks it's great for me.

Status: offline 		I agree that the Enforcer is very easy to fly. No bad habits, flies slow with that big thick wing and typical low speed stall characteristics of a delta. Should be no problem for you if you can handle any intermediate plane. I increased the length of the nose gear slightly to help it break from the runway smoothly on take off. A neutral angle of attack with the symmetrical airfoil will require some up elevator to nurse it off the ground. I probably have about 1/2" travel on the surfaces with a little less on the dual rates. Relax and enjoy it.

Status: offline 		I also fly quickie and this this much easier. Nothing to worry about. I just noticed you are in Santa Clarita. Where's the maiden, maybe I can look you up? There's a T6/Aircrusier/Trainer race at the basin on Sat (I'm planning to fly my new T6) and I'll probably fly at the Crosswinds Field Sunday (could bring my Enforcer too). Anyway good luck and we will look forward to a full report.

Well, I was wearing earplugs and while I was getting ready to start it at the field 3 or 4 guys were huddled around the plane. When it started, very easily I might add, all the guys moved far away very quickly. That was with the Jett standard muffler.
