Just heat cycled the engine for the last time yesterday and made a mod. that is cool and make it easier to fuel the truck. When I ran my last tank I bore a 2><2in square hole in the driver side windshield and a smaller 3/4in hole in the upper driver's door under the handle in-line with the tank door. I put a red zip tie on the tank lid, make it so it would want to curve to the rear of the truck, Cut a small hole in the back window for it to hang out, cut a small piece of fuel line for a grip.So now you can pull the zip tie and look through the windshield as you poke the fuel spout through the door.

LMAO @ duct tape and zip tied the tape alone would weigh more then the roll cage...maybe some aluminum X and Y conectors and carbon epoxy may work

Guys, you might want to rethink the carbon arrows for any kind of roll cage set up. They will work great for supports for the towers. Carbon arrows are designed so that their strength runs the length of the shaft but not from the side, they break very easily if impacted solidly on the side. Trust me, archery is my main hobby abd I have witnessed enough broken shafts just from another arrow slapping it hard enough in the target at just the right angle. They should work great for supports though. Just my .02

that is why i choose the EASTON A/C/E aluminum/carbon/extreem good for both and for the supports i use P/C it has the best linier strength. but i may be wrong so i would like your input!

I was at the loacal do it your self store and I Had an awsome idea using 1/4" aluminum chanel and 1/4 square stock you can make braces for dirt cheap about 12$ Canadian. I belive that aluminum does not like to bend and stay strong so using the square stock you can keep it True and have the most solid of aluminum braces NO bends = no weak points but i am still going to do my C/F thing cuz it is alot stronger and Lighter then aluminum and costs about the same, Just a little more labor in it and finding the right sized ends but i am sure that when i get to my LHS i will find what i am looking for! But I bet that aluminum will polish up nicely!

Ok I just have a few questions, since the mammoth has weak parts that cant handle doodoo, anyone have any suggestions for me that could make this monster be tougher? I've had the mammoth for 2 days and already I broke the front control arm, bent the front and back shock towers, also bent the plate that holds the motor. So far I'm not happy with this beast. What good is a monster truck if you cant play rough! Are there aluminum or even steel replacement parts?

I just finished breaking in my Mammoth yesterday and put it to the test last night on a track. WOW. This thing hauls!! It was a tight track too so it was very impressive getting this thing around it. I had flips, crashes, multiple roll overs, landed on my hood from a bad jump (BEFORE I got the balance thing going) and no broken, bent parts to report.

I am very impressed with its performance and durability.

I like the t-maxx, but every one has one. I'm getting a mammoth because no one has one, but now every one has one so im thinking about get a x factor instead. I guess when i get my mammoth i will have to customize the heck out of it. What bodies and tires can i use that will work with it?
