Have you guys checked out this forum global hobby website? It is where I started, and there is a WEALTH of information there. Carbon fiber shock towers. Barnburner enterprises makes some aluminum battery/recevier boxes that look pretty sweet. Hobby People seem to be the biggest supplier of parts, the same list you can find on Global Hobby's website. I am looking into some aluminum suspension arms from crazynutracing, should be my next big purchase for my Mammoth. Share some of your experiences! At first I was kind of disappointed, I spent so much time breaking in the mammoth, and all the stuff I had seen and heard about how durable they are. I bent shock towers and braces on the first tank after engine break-in. I was kind of mad, but after I cooled off, I did accept that these trucks are not indestructable, and I have to be more conscious of how I drive it. Jumping it and landing on the roof of the truck is bound to bend or break something! I am over my initial shock and have put another half gallon through it and am very pleased with its performance. I just need to learn a WHOLE lot more about fine tuning the engines.
