Is Anybody Crazy enough, or rich enough to create AND drive a dual Picco P2 T-maxx? And do you think it can be done?

It can be done, and more has already been done. Madscientest (a member here) has a Tmaxx with 3 XTM 24.7 engines, and puts out around 8HP. So yes, you can set up a dual P2 but it wouldn't be anything suprising.

Well...If its in its stock for yea. But if you build the thing up with all metal tranny gears...driveshafts cvds and etc hardened steel clutchbells with rrp spur etc...i dont see why there would be a problem.

Here you go. A dual P2 wouldn't top this.

I guess "power" is relative.

I don't think ANY twin/triple/quad is FASTER or QUICKER than their single engine equivalent. Would they win a tug of war? Probably, but that is not just related to power, but also involves the huge WEIGHT difference that is present. The extra engine, tank, fuel, pipes, gears, custom engine mounts all combine to add so much weight that performance specs goes DOWN, not up!

Multi-engine trucks are ego-trips. They look cool, sound cool, and draw people at the track who say "OOOH". Then they turn around and whip your ass in a race!

For ANY practical use, they'd just be a pain. But there's no rule that you should be practical, and ego-trips can be a blast. I'm not being judgemental, but I personally would rather put my money into a new truck/buggy.

I agree Dean....However it would be fun to build a 120 Motor Tmaxx with 300+BHP...Wait I already got one that makes that much power. LoL

Don't you break enough parts with your single motor P2 powered TMaxx?

You could simulate having two motors easily enough:

1. Take the TMaxx to the field.
2. Get a big hammer.
3. Repreatedly hit the truck with the hammer.
4. Drive to the LHS and get replacement parts.

You could also just run into a curb several times over and over again..or why not just burn your money?

Sure. If he (or anyone else) decides to build it I would also like to see it, as well as a video.

Honestly, I would rather buy a few other new trucks/on road/ buggies for the money/time I would spend trying to figure all that out!

Or you could buy me an emaxx. lol I wonder how long the stock drivetrain would last? I say not even 1 tank, any takers? With a beefed up drivetrain you could but why not just have 1 real big block. Like the Picco P3 .26
