That looks really cool Chuck! Nice work! What gear did you put in it? What did the weight come out to?

The gear is carbon fiber from Jeff William; the Burrito is power by a new Satio 82 with an APC 14X4 wide blade and the weights 4 lbs. 5ozs. More power than its needs but I wanted try the Satio 82.

Oh HELL Yeah Chuck!

That thing really looks classy. The canopy area is really cool. Hope you don't mind if I steal that one. You gonna make it to Nashville? Also, please be sure to get some in flight pics when you can.........You know the dirty ones.....with the tail doing unspeakable things..........

I doubt if I will be able to come to Nashville because of a prior commitment on Sunday. If I can figure out a way to work it in I will be there. What time do the ProBro commence flying Saturday morning? The canopy area was covered in Utracoat Carbon Kevlar, which matches my carbon fiber gear. As far as the in flight pics they will probably have to wait until my flying skills improve. I joined the Profile Brotherhood but I can’t fly like them, and I haven’t stayed at a Holiday Inn Express!

LMAO! Holiday Inn Express hasn't helped me either, but I always stay there....Just INN case!

Don't worry about the flying skills, they will come and you have a VERY durable tool to learn with. Just set-up the low rates to keep it pretty docile for a while and high rates just a tad more. As you get more comfortable, just crank up the high rates a little more and do not be afraid to use a healthy amount of expo either. That gal is too killer to just sit around and not be flown. I hear tell, that if left to their own devices, they start to gain weight

As for the Pro Bro in Nashville, I would think you'll see guys flying as early as 7:30 or 8:00 depending on how many partook of 'rita's and ribs the night before. By 10:00 though, the sky should be full of all manner of slim chicks!

Come on down if you can and congrats on a great looking Burrito.

BURRITO ROCKS

YOU SAID IT WAS THE EASYEST TO HOVER AND YOU WERE RIGHT!!

Got kit thursday built wing thrusday night
built the rest friday night
saturday it took all day to cover, put together, install servos, linkages ECT...
Sunday morning I put in my OS.46 (after a good cleaning)
note to self ; after a crash, clean engine before you chuck it a box
The next few hours I had to spend cleaning up tools and sweeping.
Sunday afternoon I was at the field, and I had a blast. Kept it high untill I had two tanks burnt.
then got to trying hanging it. It was as easy as my Foamy. I am no expert but if I can keep it in a hover for more than a few seconds It is great. well the Burrito was upright for almost 1/2 a minute. That dosn't sound like much but at the sticks for me it is a lot!!
Here are the photos
RTF-- 4 lbs 6oz.

Well,

Looks like I'll be the one to bring down the property value on this thread. Here's my burrito. It's a hand-me-down and I'm about 3rd generation. It's got a Saito 72 on it and I needed to do some clean up and close up the trap door in the leading edge of the wing that was formed when the last owner had a near-earth experience and the battery got scared and wanted out-- bad! It's back together and definitely showing some wear but it still flies great. It is my first profile and i'm looking at getting another one (a nicer one) but then I'd be afraid of dinging it up. Went flying today and did my first tail-touch. I doubt that would have happened if I had a purdy plane like some of these here. Anyway, here's the workhorse.

Burritos + Lakeland FL = Ron F.

I think Ron is reponsible for more Burrritos than anyone.

Except Swany of course.

The engine came from Ron but the plane was originally a gentleman in Winter Haven, Charlie Gray. Ron bent up some landing gear for me and it took all of about two seconds. He mentioned that he, "has done this once or twice". Obviously!

Thanks......buildflycrash............ my Burrito with a Saito .72. Had it for a couple of seasons now. Love this profile. Paul did a good job. Did some mod. Regarding landing gear, because it is a two piece fuse profile, I reinforced the engine and landing fuse part.

Sorry. When I upload the picture a message tells me "File uploaded successfully", but the attachment is not included in the message. I did exactly the way I used to upload pictures, but somehow it's not working this time. I wonder why ?. Maybe RCU changed something.

Charles.
