Can any one tell me where I can get a cline regulator? I need to move my tank on my F90.

    Very nice!

I'm just finishing my Funtana 90 (yeah I know...) build and I've obtained the SFG's from the Funtana 50X to put on my 90.

It looks like they will fit very nicely, as soon as I've recovered them with the Yellow Mono/Ultracoat.

These are smaller than the ones for the 100X which is why I purposely selected this size.

After looking at the video, I see that the 90 Harriers inverted very well, but everyone has complained about instability in a forward Harrier.

I was hoping that the SFG's would help cure this.

    Comments?

PS Nice video. Someday I'll be able to do those rolling harriers.

So I finally got my YS110 dialed in properly! Took me almost forever, with a lot of frustration, because I was setting the valves wrong

    YS 110 - Where's the power?

Anyway, so things are looking good, the Funtana 90 is in the air, and I'm really getting to like how it handles.

I do have one question though, regarding the servo's, and I'm hoping I can get some input here (after reading thru 175 pages, I beleive you're the right guys to help!!)

I'm using Hitec 5645MG all round - except throttle, DS811 - on 6volts. My setup is good, no slop in linkage (I also fly heli's), but I noticed that with with power turned on, there is some play in the surfaces. I have traced this back to what appears to be some "gear play" INSIDE the servos. By the way, this is happening with ALL the 5645 servos, and they are all brand new.

I have not yet experienced any unusual happenings during flight, but I was wondering if this was kind of normal with these servos, and if not, what might I do to remedy it.

    Thanks!

It flies well with the SFG's, however I do not have my engine working reliably enough to risk things like the inverted harriers yet... since I've been busy playing with other planes.

I hope to remedy this soon and post a report.

It does look fairly nice as the SFG's are covered with the same color covering now.

6 inch's to start, later you can add lead to the tail on the fuselage with masking tape, fly it, when you see that you like that spesific CG, remove the lead and move the battery back to get that specific CG that you like, Remember, fuel tank in front of wing tube, some people use the tank on the rear of the wing tube, I use it in front and is nice.
Engine has to be a YS120 or YS110 (110 may need more weith in front).
I use a 120 OS because my YS120 was in maintenance and man is not the same beast.

Flies like a trainer at 6-3/4"

Throws, go easy on the Elevator. Start with low rates at 3/4" max (1/2" is good enough) with at least 30% expo. This bird is pitch sensitive.

Tman is right on this one. Remember the specs call for 7 1/8" on the CG, while moving the CG slightly forward is a good idea for any new model, moving this one to 6" is A LOT!

Cut your aileron deflections in half as well since they are really sensitive at the recommended low throws, mine are at about 12 or 13 degrees of deflection at low rate on my tx.

I started with mine at 6 5/8" CG and it had the trainer like flight characteristics I was looking for since I used it for a transition airplane from a Nexstar. It worked great and I've since moved the CG back using the battery, I can't say exactly where it's at now since it was trimmed by flight characteristics using the IMAC trimming trick of a 45 degree inverted climb that does not require down elevator for several seconds to maintain the climb.

I can't imagine adding weight to this thing as they are coming in way over the published weights anyway. Mine's 9.5 lbs. with a YS 110 in the nose.

Ashes to ashes... Dust to dust. There is one less F90 in the world now. Sad. I loved the maize and blue colors.
