Status: offline 		A friend gave me a gallon of 5% Red Max & I wondered if I can mix it with any other 15% (like cool power) fuel to make 10% nitro?

I have had good luck by mixing 25% Powermaster nitro fuel with the 5% Red Max 50/50. I think this gives 15% fuel also.
I bought 10 gallons of Red Max a few months back and have since decided to upgrade it to 15% nitro. What I did was purchase a gallon of pure nitro and quart of their oil. If you add 13 ounces of nitro to the gallon you will have 15% nitro, but the oil will have been diluted by the additional nitro so add two ounces of oil. The math is easiest to figure out if you first put the nitro and oil in a gallon container and fill it the rest of the way with the 5% fuel.

Status: offline 		I got a quart of Redline oil from FHS, the manufacturer of Redmax fuel. You can use castor oil. If you mix 5% and 25% fuels, then no additional oil is needed.
