same here. im gonna end up having a Airtech MX-3S a while before i have anything to use it in (revo) thats ok tho, i guess. i do plan to get an HPI Nitro Rush Evo. does ne1 else think that that truck looks sick? the motor is garbage but, it'll work for me as long as it does 35 or if not that they have a 2speed to get it to that speed.

in what was does it look liek a t? the fact that it has tires and a body? all trucks have that. it has 4 horizontally mounted shocks, only seen in high priced nitro f1 cars. it has no chassis braces at all. the 2.5R revvs to 50,000 rpm. completely stock it weighs in a t 9.4 lbs dry weight, w/ the stock rx pack in it. comes w/ a rx pack. it has better tires and much better treads. it uses a computer system to shift so it dosnt get messed up a little between forward and reverse. the only thing that its missing is a good radio/rx system. oh, a Airtronics mx-3s, 175 for 27 mhz syth w/ a servo.

i agree with project_2501, i think the revo will live up to what traxxas is saying. i think traxxas has proved they can produce quality trucks, how many people doubted the tmaxx when it first came on to the market, and look how popular it is now, granted no truck on the market is without its flaws and never will be, but i think traxxas took the MT market to a whole new level with this truck.

That revo is crazy. It has so many great performance mods that i think it will be the next rc car of the year for two years or more. Digital controlled transmission, no more bump steer, and the suspension in their videos are really looking great. here is a link to traxxas video page for the revo: http://www.traxxas.com/REVO/revo.htm#Scene_2 i definitly need to get a job for this one.

why in the hell do some of you say "yeah looks good for a race track but how will it hold up bashing?" i mean if any of you ever raced then you would know that if it can take the abuse of a 30 minute A main if not longer then a weekend bashing session wouldn't do crap to it. racing is harder on a car then bashing.
unless you run into a tree yet then your just a bad driver anyway.

personally i have always disliked the T-maxx but this truck really does seem to have lots of potential. This last weekend that was shown in person out in Victoria Tx at a big race where steve went crazy with it.

If you can't fit a .21 in it without an extended chassis then yes it's t-maxx part 2. It'll have the same quest for more power. Where are you guys hearing the 2.5 R does 50,000 rpm? I'd like to see that. I do hope it holds up on or off the track but for now I'am going to wait to see it in person. Those videos are too choppy to see what it really is capable of as far as speed or jumping to really base a decision on. In one scene it goes up a curb or going over the rocks. Looks good on video but I'd like to see one run first and see where the weakpoints are before I go stampeding to the hobby shop. I also liked the body of the stadium maxx they were teasing everyone with, where'd that go?
