I was wondering if this would be a good replacement for the nitro star .25. the only draw back is the price but im guessing for how much it is ill get my moneys worth, am i right? is it a very hard engine to tune or is it just like any other engine?

it is a great replacement. but be prepared to put lots of time and some money into the truck to get it to deal well with that huge power. i think its well worth it, especially if you have another truck to run while the one with the picco is down. lol

i would recommend the steel or aluminum brake hub, a throttle/brake linkage upgrade, and mip cvd drives for starters.

just go with the dual disk brakes if you are getting a new brake hub.

i dont think so, i would rather get the dual disk brakes. they have a metal hub.

either steel or aluminum, i use the steel just because thats what i found back before i even found an aluminum one. in hindsight i would get the aluminum just to cut down on the rotating mass, but thats a minimal difference at best. the big advantage is you wont strip the plastic hub after you upgrade.
