personally I tried a 1400 2s on mine and it wouldnt lift I had to use a 3s.

Any lipo or li/ion charger will do so long as it has cell number choice, mah choice and an inverter.

I dont know about kokam, My packs are made by enjoy model they seem ok.

Thunderpower 2 cell 1350mah works great on my Aerohawk. 2-1/2"x 1-1/2"
15 min hover times.
Triton charger by Greatplanes.

The Kokam 1500mh should be plenty for power.. but size? It should fit even if you have to make your own battery holder.Dont expect to stick with the stock battery clamp.
Cheers

1500mh don't mean power.... i mean fight time... cell= volt determine rmp and power...... 2 cell... since it 7.4v only... stay within 800-1300.... if more mah... need 3 cell and faster motor... i don't see why u need 1500... u not planning to fly it from west coast to east coast are u? ... just buy 2 battery... stop down for cool down and put new pack.... give ur electronic a break.. they last longer..

I have a couple of the Kokam 1500 2S and love them. The size isn't that much of a difference, and I am using the stock board.

The only thing I did was to insert two CF rods in the front of the frame for a new holder. When looking at the front of the frame, drill two holes on either side of the triangle for the landng gear. If you look at the bottom of the frame, there are two channels on either side of the motor mount. They are what the holes need to be aligned with. Then, just slide in a CF rod on either side, and CA in place. The leverage works out that in a crash, the rods press up against the frame, keeping the CA strong.

I also used a small piece of aluminum tubing to form a U-shaped cap for the ends of the rods. It added tremendous strength to the idea.

Just use rubber bands to hold the battery undreneath. It can be used for either lipos, or the stock batteries, and the balance adjustment is perfect.

Let me know if you guys need to see a picture, and I'll post it.

It's the hottest battery out there, in my opinion.

I've also decided on the kokam 1500 - thanks for info on battery holder - will do this too.

Goin for the new apache 1215 2 cell auto charger - about $30. Looks good.

available from a few sites, here's 2 that I've found:-

http://www.av8hobbies.com/lipoly.html

http://www.eflightdesigns.com/cgi-bin/products.cgi?CAT=19

these 2 sites don't do kokam's though so need to source these elsewhere e.g. :-

https://www.fmadirect.com/site/home.htm (they also do a 2 cell li-po charger for $29 but not as good as the apache).
