did research and found out this is a 1911 AVRO D kitted in about 1960

Just saw your post and pic. Looks great ! Do you know there are 8 pages of info, history, specs, photos and an excellent 3 view of the Type D in "AVRO Aircraft since 1908", AJ Jackson, Putnam. The 3 view is of the first prototype rather than the second which was a sesquiplane configuration (as was the fifth). A total of only seven Type D Biplanes were produced. MalcolmL
