I have been fascinated by Russian fighters and have dreamed of one day being able to fly a Mig 29 or the beutiful SU-27. It is truly an amzing piece of work. The paint schemes also are amazing and have been the subject of modelers for years. I finally found a good pic with some of my favorite schemes I have ever seen. These schemes are remarkable!!

I agree those schems are awesome. I love the blue one.

This summer I got to see a rare sight.. 8 German MiG 29s landing and then taking off. Was awesome.

Here are some images from the LOMAC computer simulator game. From what I hear you need near state of the art computer with tons of video power to run it. Just look at the water textures. I have a demo on my computer and it is a blast to fly the M29 once you can get rid of that pesky Mirage that is always chasing you.

Like I said you need computer power to run it. I don't with my PIII and 32MB vid card. The A-10 flys OK and I can land and take off without too much stuttering, but when I tried to land the M29 it became uncontrollable due to the computer freeze/lag. Anyway here is the main site:

Lock-On Modern Air Combat site: http://www.lo-mac.com/
(noticed that you can download a demo)........fun

ANd here is an Information Forum for LOMAC: http://www.simhq.com/simhq3/sims/boards/bbs/ultimatebb.php?ubb=forum;f=37

Hope this helps

Have you ever seen the maneuver they do where they can flip it around, shoot behind them and flip back and stil maintain the forward motion. It rocks! You could probably go over and fly one for not a lot of money right now. Probably buy one in a few years. I have lots of friends that have bought migs and L-29 jets. They are selling a lot of their old birds. Wish the US would let us buy our old jets. That would rock!
