I heard that the rpm arms flex ALOT in a crash. I was going to get RPM arms and UE knucklehead shock tower and super shocks. Would the arms flex alot and bend the shock pistons? I really don't want to ruin my new shocks.

What you might want to do is go to RPM's web site. They have a really good FAQ section. And also you could email them

RPM arms do flex a lot. Enough to mess up drives and shock shafts. They wil also effect the handling of your truck. Not such a deal if you bash, but for racing they are pretty much a joke.

Should I worry about bending the shock shafts?

The FAQ is useless. Of course they will say not to worry about it, they want to sell their product. Would it be worth it to buy UE widetrack suspension for $170 instead of RPM?

I have RPM on mine and I beat it up pretty good. I havent had a problem with bent shocks, BUT I also replace things for no good reason also. I dont however buy high dollar shocks. I have 4 XTM x- factor shocks on my maxx and they are GREAT. about 40.00 for the set.
