I have just got my aero-hawk and have had 4 Flights (two on each battery pack) and am not getting sufficient lift. The model lifts slightly on the training under carriage (which is very light) but does not leave the ground.
Any help with this would be much appreciated, thanks.

I'm a newby at this also but here are some bits that I THINK I've gleaned from other posts.

How long are you charging the packs for? - they need the best part of 3 hours initially then 2:20 - 2:30 (just check they don't get hot to the touch).

You can 'twist' the blades to get a little more lift I think - hold the blade near the head (so you don't break anything) and twist the tip to put more pitch on the blade.

How is the trim on the throttle set...? I think it should be set to minimum, along with the throttle, when you plug the battery in - you can then increase the trim. If the blades ain't turning then whack it up to full.

I was having the same problem with mine (among others). Make sure it is set up so that the transmitter trims (other than throttle) are fairly near center (binding of the swash creates huge power losses in this model). My cure for low power was to replace stock motor with a Hummingbird 370 --- HUGE difference. Headed straight for the ceiling on 1/2 throttle. Other than replacing the tubing below swashplate with an aluminum shaft collar, I have fopund that most of the upgrades being sold aftermarket are not necessary, or even desirable. My only other advice is if you find yourself spending more than $100 or so over the original purchase price on upgrades & repairs, dump the little copters and go to an Eco 8 or something in the gas line... the little copters (Dragonfly, Aerohawk, Piccolo, Hummingbird et al) are easily outgrown, and before you know it, you could have bought something quality to start with for same $$$. And if you want a real blast, save up for a Draganflyer! (www.rctoys.com/draganflyer4.php)
