What do you do when the money runs out . It seems that the love for flying stays with you all your life. your health is one you have no control of. Going to the field any more there seem to be a different type of people there. They will not talk and act like they are better than you are. I was there once and do not understand what has changed. Some day these same people will be in my and many other people shoes and ask the same questions.
It seem's to be the same in RC. May be we should be put out to pasture. Gets where you just set at home and punch key's and read about what the old fart's do wrong and why they should be flying.

Depends on the groups around. They are all different. Some groups make a seat available for the ones that can't afford it. I try to make room when I can. There are a lot of groups that really suck to be around. Like you say, younger guys who think they are better than everyone else, or older guys who think they are better than everyone else. Who needs it. The key is to have fun and avoid the crap.
