looks like a real rock buggy. Is that set up as a triangulated 4 link in the front and the rear?

Can you make your own beadlocks or can you only buy them??? Just wondering if I could make some for my e-maxx tires.

In the works, waiting on electronics to come in at the LHS and a few things from Tower.

Gecko 2, Inetrc dif lockers, wideners and adapters, Integy shocks, maximizer beadlocks, will be running some monster 200oz airtronics servos, super rooster and Epic Outlaw binary stocks.

I've got the new proline Landcruiser body, any of you guys painted one yet? I'm not sure about colors and would be cool to see some examples.

start reading

this forum and clodtalk are a good place to start.

The most common element in most crawlers are clodbuster gearboxes, but some guys also run the TXT gearboxes. It depends on what you can find and what you can spend.

Here's my Kyosho Mini-Z-Overland. It may be small, but it's big for its size and I figured that I could learn the basics a "little" at a time. Perhaps, I'll get a larger "crawler" for outside later--something larger than the OL and Mini-Giant anyway.

IMO the clod is the best base for a crawler the axle mounted motors make it have a low CG but pretty much any thing can be made into a capable crawler its jsut the amount of money and time you have

By the way, that's www.clodtalk.com . For a first crawler you could buy a clod, and then buy a new chassis like the gecko. Here's some good sites for rock crawling:
www.clodtalk.com
www.mudcow.com
www.rccrawler.com
www.toyotaoffroad.net/afertig/88/clodbuster
www.rcrock.com
www.clodparts.com
