Actually the Jack Rabbit "eliminator" was designed to jump(?). I seen an old video where these guys set up a ramp on the side of a shed, and jumped the damn thing over their ranch style house. It landed, and drove away. I wish i knew what the video was called. I have an "eliminator", and it sits about an inch higher than my regular jack rabbit. I dont think i'm jumping it over my house anytime soon though. The only thing I dont like, is the angles of the dogbones from this. The shocks are about 1/2 inch longer on it, and the rear tires are a bit taller, the fronts are as wide as the rear. Does anyone know who made the "tuned" pipes for these? I have several new pipes, but no header for them (just the aluminum "canister" , and wanted to post them for sale, but dont know the manufacturer. It is absolutely amazing what you find in the basement of a building that hasnt been a hobby shop in 9 years!

cannister pipes are useless, yes they will flow a lil' more air but there is no pulling of the air into the motor like a tuned pipe would do. i have ran many different pipes on my rabbit. use a macs header from 1/4 boats. all my designes were based off it. intersting enough i found a straight header to out perform everything! let me know if you are serious and need more info.BTW i want to see that eliminator if you can post pictures of it...PB

Thats what i believe the cans are, "tuned". They are the ones that were the options on the raco line, and on other 1/4 scale cars. Ive seen them on jack rabbits and the other cars they made. I'll post the pic of the eliminator as soon as I reassemble it.

I just realized I made a mistake...Its not "eliminator", its the "super modified" version. The only difference I can see on the frame is that the "ribs" that are on the front of the tub frame are "rippled", instead of one long rib on each side. It has the wing, nerf bars, front shock tower reinforcements, besides the longer shocks, pipe and k&n filter. The frame is also anodized red. I guess I had the full size sprint cars on my brain (eliminator) for some reason. My bad..I'm sure I just confused a ton of people..LOL

I have a ? for any one on this thread. Is a new in the box Raco Road Runner w/ tuned pipe and a wing worth $699.00. My LHS has one that they have had for over 10 yrs and now they want to sell it. I am not new to large scale, I just have not owned a Raco or know what they are worth.

If the buggy has never been ran or put together, then I will say it is worth it. But it doesn't hurt to bargain . I sold my one used buggy for $460, and it was schratched a bit. A brand new buggy should be around $700 or so.
