Sounds good to me but wait, I just found $0.02 in my pocket! lol 1st off I just want to compliment the video. Nice one bigair78! It's not something I'd be willing to do with any of my R/Cs but as long as you're willing to do it, I'm willing to watch the videos! Forget the critics & use the compliments to fuel your ideas. I know this sounds a little crazy but did you mean to land on your lid or did the MSC wire come loose in air? Maybe the motor got knocked loose in the 1st attempt? The reversed servo has me confused too. Were you using an older radio without a servo reversing switch? Anyway. Great video & keep them coming! Oh yeah, if you plan on doing it again, how about some wings or at least a couple sparklers taped to the tailgate?

Not sure what all was wrong with the truck. The night before I got it all wired up and wanted to see how it handle. In the process the 12 cells started smoking alot of the electronics. The servo was damaged during test runs so when I turn left and turned right and vice versa. The reversing switch would not reverse it. Plus the throttle response was terrible. As far as landing on my lid I didn't mean too. It's just when I stood in front of the ramp to line it up I couldn't really see what was going on. I saw the front end come up as soon as it came off the ramp and I taped the brakes. Well, when I did that it the nose dove down and I tried giving it throttle but it was too late. I've done away with the msc so I won't be doing that again. All I have is my brushless systems and I'm not that crazy. But I did just finish building a new ramp. Check it out.

Interesting video, I enjoy seing insane jumps But, I'm curious why you didn't stand so you could watch the truck while jumping, so you could guide it to a possible safe landing, that would've been awesome. I'm going to scope out an area to do some crazy jumps with my stampede.

Due to the servo being damaged it was a pain to drive and steer like I said in the post before this one. The msc is not fun to drive anyway IMO,hard to control. For some reason reverse was more responsive. Thanks for watching.

I guess you're supposed to watch the video and then give your opinion of it? (Just kidding.) It was stupid, but we're all stupid for taking the time to watch something like that, me included. There's no reason to bash one another - if he enjoys doing stuff like this and other people enjoy watching it, good for him. Now if he was trying to test how durable he was by jumping off the bridge, that'd be a whole different story.

As far as money goes, $70 in RC is nothing. Ask any heli flyer and chances are he's had a few crashes at a few hundred a piece. I wish I still had the picture, but once a few guys got together and built two competing heli models using donationed parts from fellow flyers. Then they flew them full speed and did a head-on collision, which they filmed, of course. That did some damage - probably two $700-$1200 machines down the drain.

MAN That was awsome!
At first I thought it was kinda stupid, but then I thought about it. I mean if I wanted to have a little fun with a pretty cheap R/c
I'd probably want to see mine jump off a building! plus, there is a difference between extreme carlessness and extreme Fun.
Anyway, like u said u didnt break anything, and if you did you could replace all the parts, and so what if he didnt make the jump perfectly, or was going 15mph , it was an awesome movie, he still made a jump. So lay of the the hate and stop ur Jeering.
Once again, that was totally awsome!
sincerly, ASSOCIATED ONLY!

hye big air. well you inspired me. i went out on on a bridge with a little river about 5 feet out from it. the bridge was a lil smaller than yours. but i had a nitro rustler. and i dont use it much. and i have 2 of them. and was planning to sell 1 cheap. so i decided to do it. i went about 35 and also landed upside down. all i broke were the rear shock tower and front shock tower. and a cracked body mount. BIIG WHOOOOP. thanks for the inspiration. i wish i had a a video tape but i dont have a camera. or video camera. traxxas makes great trucks. i have put my rustlers through abuse. and they dont break much. i just think losi peopel just put traxxas down cause they are mad they didnt go traxxas in the benging and they are stuck with a horrible car(JUST KIDDIN). OH YEAH I MADE IT OVER THE stream. which wasnt very long. all i know was that it broke 4 parts and i did that tring to level out after it almost doing a back flip because i had some throttle in the air and i hit the brake to level it out. but when your that high and you just aim down a little bit. its done ts just gonna keep rotating. but thanks for the inspiration. that right man. rcs r meant to be bashed hard. keep up the good work
