    Sorry everybody.

I made a mistake. It is Extreme Flight, not Electric Flight. I wrote it wrongly.

Being clarified such mistake, I inform you that I have ordered one YAK 1720mm from http://shop.lindinger.at/product_info.php?cPath=1130_1138&products_id=56560.
As you can see, it seems the same that the ones sold by Ultra-RC, but this one is 68" (Ultra-RC YAK's are 88" and 102" .

In the picture, the fuse is in red colour scheme, but, if you see at the videos in the lindinger web page, you will see in the blue, as Extreme Flight was.
I could not see the inside construction of the fuse, but seems to be identical to the one that was sold by Extreme Flight. If true, the only change is the colour scheme. That's all folks.

I will confirm as soon as I received and check mine. It has already been shipped and I'm waiting impatient.

    Regards,

    Mike

    Hi,

have no experience with YS engines.... would the 140 sport have enough power for decent 3d flying on the 74" yak ?

    Cheers

I think the YS 140 would have to work hard to pull it from a hover with punch. But then 3D is not all about racing out of a Hover position.I havent seen anyone with a 140.The YS 160 seems to be tons ans extra power.I'd give it a try
(This is the EF 74 inch I am talking about)

My 68" Yak at 8 1/2 lbs with the 140 Sport hovers at 1/3 throttle with a wood 18x6. The listed weight on the 74 is around 11 lbs - So maybe the 160DZ would be the better choice.

I took a chance and ordered a cowl For my EF Yak from Lindinger (the German firm whose web address is in post 5351 above). It just arrived and it is a perfect duplicate of the original cowl with the exception that the top of the cowl was painted red rather than blue. I will just repaint it. It cost $26 plus $20 for international shipping. So this is a real possible source for replacement parts. The entire airplane lists at $289 (plus shipping!), if anyone wants to try it....

Hello, I have the yak 68", MVVS 1.6 with carbon fiber pipe, digital Hi-Tech servos. Guys let me tell you this is
the best small gas engine I ever own, it pulls the 68" yak verry good and it lands verry light. 3D NO PROBLEM
I just steel in love like the firt time it was on the market by Extreme Flight.

I have a brand NIB 68" EF yak i would part with, i paid alot for it though.I would certainly be interesting in trading it in on a NIB 88" yak.

    Hi,

I really think that the YAK-54 68" that is sold in www.lindinger.at is the same that was sold by Extreme Flight. The only change is the brand (now is Modell-Expert) and the colour scheme: red instead blue.

I have just received mine, with a CD containing the instruction's manual. IT's exactlly the same that te one issued by Extreme Flight, really.

Then, if someone is interested to buy again the last EF YAK-68", it's just only a question of ordering it through this new brand

    Regards

A friend of mine had a Modell Expert YAK54 68" for over a year that he crashed due to loss of orientation.. He ordered another one the same day without thinking twice. He had a YS110 bolted in the front, and the performance was outstanding. He just sold the new one to me because he got another plane that he wanted to try out.

My question is; I dont have a YS right now, and dont want to have one either. Im thinking of putting a glow 2 stroke engine on the front of my new 68" YAK54 (Identical to the EF YAK with the same insanely light foam-filled construction). I was thinking of putting a 120AX on the nose. Is it gona be enough for all wild 3D maneuvers, unlimited vertical? I'd love to have over-power but for the sake of keeping the airframe light I dont like unusable, heavy over-power. Whats the best Glow 2 stroke alternatives that I could use with a near perfect power/weight ratio? Im at sealevel with normal temp/humidity.

    LiQuid TR:

A friend of mine and I both successfully flew 68 inch Yaks with O.S. 108s, which weigh more than 3 ounces heavier than the O.S. 120 AX. So I think that it would be the perfect two-stroke for this plane.

That is good to know thanks. - another thing on my mind; servos.. Can I use Hitec 475HB karbonite gear servos on 6volts for the ailerons and elevators? (i know it'd be the minimum but Ive got 16 of them laying around)
Im going with a 5645MG for the rudder.
