It's here! i have it! in my grubby little hands! haha! It's here! i have it! in my grubby little hands! haha! It's here! i have it! in my grubby little hands! haha! It's here! i have it! in my grubby little hands! haha!
ok, now that i have lost your attention, i got it today. i inspected it and it is the most impressive thing i have ever seen. the construction is outrageously well done. it's huge! (compared to everything i have) the covering is out of this world, everything is simply perfect. very very light. construction is straightforward and simple, and it is everything i would ever want in an arf. i have not begun construction yet, but from an overall inspection, it's off the scale. that thing was a pain to get back in the box though because it was packed so intrecatly. (sp?) i am just stunned. wayne, wouyld you please tell chris that he has an arf on the market that all others should set their standards to? this is by far the best roll model of the quality potential of an arf i have ever seen. you should be proud to represent this company and you, Wayne should be proud to work for it. this oughta change those guys minds around that think that arfs are all low quality and badly done. you rock! it's also interresting to know that all of us here in this forum have one of the 1st 60 of these things to ever be sold in the united states.

Here are a few images with the wings installed. The fit of the wings is excellent. Nice and snug.

    Clam,

I am sure Chris will be reading this thread after he gets back from Joe Nall. I know he appreciates all the positive feedback.
His steadfast comitment to producing only the best planes available has been a bumpy road but looks like that chapter is over.

You are 100% correct when you say I am lucky to be part of what Chris is doing. I tell him that every chance I get.
I will be in Atlanta early next week and will most likely be flying with Chris and the EF guys. As always we will take lots of pics and vids.

How does this look for stab alignment? No adjustments required to get to this point.

yes, not only do i like it, i love it. most of the things i would like to say require some stronger language that the fcc would not approve of to really convey the effect that i want to. yet, quality like this can not be put into words. any complement is subjective, and while two items may have been described as high quality, there is a good chance that one is superior to the other. this one is definatly the superior one. i thought that my h9 twist was high quality. this thing will blow a strong kick in the wahoozi to any h9 plane.

One of the cool things is if you look at the wing construction very closely, you will see dovetailed joints similar to what was done with the EF profile. A very strong joint!

Well I got some time too open the boxs and all I can say is WOW!!!
I have been in woodworking for twenty eight years now and can say I have never seen quality workmanship like this in any other ARF,KIT period!!

I hope Chris has plenty of these planes on hand as Im sure they will sell very fast. For what they sell for you get your moneys worth and more! Just unreal quality guys!

I will be calling Chris next week to get on the list for the 87" Yak, and didn't I hear about a 107" Yak in the future?

well, i am bummed. it looks like i will not be able to start it for the next couple weeks because we have a guy coming in to install some tile here and we have to rip out the entire kitchen and laundry room as well as clean up a bit, as well as some other stuff and everybody is super-busy. this is not cool. after waiting for this for 6 months, i finally get it and now it's here, tempting me but there is no time or place to build.

I just cracked up my UCD yesterday and I'm sure my YS-110 would love to be transplanted into one of these. Are they available or were all of the first shipment grabbed up by you lucky few?
