ya. I figured out where i wanted to put my servo and it is a very straight shot ffrom there. i have a little hitec micro for throttle. howe am i supposed to mount a quick fueler and a remote glow ignitor on this thing if the fuselage is round? where should i put it?

With a YS engine you might want to reconsider the quick fueler. I have read several threads here on RCuniverse where they will tend to leak/fail when operating under the pressure from the YS engine. For fueling, I used fuel dots which are very simple and are attached to the cowl.

I have never used a remote glow ignitor so I can't help there.

I initially plan on running a 16 x 6 APC prop which is recommended by YS. Chris Hinson was able to run a 17 x 6 apc using 30% heli fuel in his YS. I have a gallon of coolmaster 20/20 to use for break-in of the motor with the 16 x 6 prop. After break-in, I will try a higher nitro content and see if my motor can pull enough rpms for the 17 x 6.

I will try and add some more pictures this evening of how I have the fuel system setup clam.

Not sure about the motors you listed simply because I do not know much about them. Here is some info that might help you in the engine selection.

The YS 110 will make a bit over 2hp with 20% nitro. (Based on post from the YS tech guys in their forum)

Here is a quote from Chris Hinson regarding the airframe: "It is designed for an engine in the 26-30 oz range."

So if you select a motor with at least 2 HP and weigth of 26 - 30 oz, you should have a great flying airframe.

The fuel tank does get mounted fairly close to the CG. The wing tube really prevents mounting the take exactly on the CG but it is close. I will try and post some pictures tonight of how the fuel lines and fuel tank are setup.

Does the kit come with a spinner and if not what size is required ? ( getting a box full of parts waiting for the day that big brown knocks on the door !! ) Thanks Rad

The kit does NOT come with a spinner. The manual suggests a 3" spinner. I purchased a 2 3/4" tru turn with the lighted backplate. Item number: TT-2752-B-120-L You can see the one picture I posted earlier with the spinner mounted to give you an idea of its appearance. I am happy with the 2 3/4" spinner.

i am not using the dubro ones. i am using the slimline quick fillers which will not leak. you can mount it on the cowl without it cracking?

I think I would glass in a piece of shaped ( round the outside edges to fit inside ) lite ply to the inside of the cowl and just drill a hole though both of them.

looks familliar! wayne, does it have any coupling in a knife edge? also, what kind and how bad. does it really have a ton of elefator authority compared to other 3d models with such a skinny chord?
