I was wondering if anyone knows about how far out(how many turns) the nut on the spur should be turned out for good performance.

they say tighten it all the way down then 3/4 turn off works well.

word of advise though, a used/squished/mangled/destoryed etc spring will GREATLY affect the "slipper" action. some belive it also is responsable for exsesive spur wobble.

I have always heard all the way down then 1/8th turn out. This is how I always do it and have never had any problems doing it this way.
