    Paul Bageman,

Geeze Louise. You don't really get my humor obviously. Nobody's upset. Least of all me. Does it sound like that? Well, maybe I mean it to for flavor. I AM an actor, after all....

What is it with you, anyway? So friendly and interested in person, yet so caustic and poorly spoken/written on the net. And why the pen-names? Is it just to be albe to be a complete a$$ in relative anonymity? Isn't that kinda cowardly? You've never, ever once had the testicular fortitude to talk any of this garbage to my face, but you sure do it on the net. I still find that very odd.....

As far as my successes and failures, you're only partly right. We all have failures (I mean, look at your failure to sign your name on your posts), and I've definitely crashed my share of jets. Are you a 'more successful' jet pilot than me? I'd say "yes" to that. But, so what? Don't look now, Paul, but I never really measured my success in the hobby by a comparison to yours. You could even say that I'm somewhat disorganized and such (I often go to the flying field, or even a meet, and leave my fuel pump at home...), but again, so what? Everybody's got somebody who's better than them! LOL

Anyway, I think the scores of customers and fellow pilots of mine whom I've helped over the years, and continue to, might disagree with your assessment of my ability. I'm a pretty good stick (though, as you've revealed, not so much as yourself... ), and when I put my mind to something, it happens.

Unlike yourself, my planes (or flying them at meets) are not an extension of, or compensation for, any of my body parts. Believe it or not, I am contented when I (as in Me, Myself and...) like them. Showing up at meets is not a blessed sacrament, so my absence from them only means I'm busy. Sure, when this Hornet is done, I'll take it to a meet and fly it, but after that, I'll be just as happy flying it at Borrego or Buttonwillow or any private place where I can enjoy it.

So, you meanie-meanie-meanie, here's my advice to you: Stop being a horse's a$$ on the net. Stop trying to piss on other peoples' endeavors. Stop making up these moronic fake names so that you can show your a$$ from the shadows. Stop being a poor excuse for a poor excuse for a Rep and try HELPING SOMEBODY instead of insulting them.

And lastly, especially if you really believe all that mouth-diarrhea you just gushed, shut up and just post (even if it has to be in that grammar of yours) "Shaun, I'll take that bet. You're on!"

    Now, is that humorous enough?

You are not very smart Shaun, I will confront you to your face. Get ready boy!!!

Man I have seen it all on RCU but never a straight up threat. I ask that you remove that post and think more about the things you say, some people take threats very seriously. I also would hate to have this thread removed because of it. Thank you for your consideration.

Now THIS thread is shaping up nicely.

Who bet the 10 cases anyway? I did not see that.

So IMHO to take a big plane off and then gently nurse it around for 6 minutes is only going to take maybe 80-90 ounces. That weighs about 4.5 pounds. So to sty under AMA weight and get a flight in the plane has to weigh 50.5 pounds dry. (FWIW I think Tommy's weighed 45 pounds).

So is the bet whether the plane will weigh 36 pounds dry, or 50.5 pounds dry? BIG difference.

So you think its a threat? Exactly what did you use to conclude that. Clearly the words. Did you stop an read what your bro wrote to provoke that response, apparently the words he uses are less meaningful than mine. No you haven't seen it all! As a matter of fact one of Shauns buddies threatened to me a year or so ago on RCU. So I called Shaun on his bs and he backed down as usual. Kevin you have no idea what is going on here so don't think for a moment you can come to any conclusion about the words I use in the last post. Shaun is just crying cause his feelings were hurt. He likes to talk smack but like a school kid mouthing off all he really wants is food and to be burped, and a hug. Its ok Shaun don't cry

Threat my arse, he likes it rough.[image][/image][image][/image]

I don't know what happened in the past and do not care. I really don't care if you and Shaun don't like each other. I do know a threat when I hear one (I hear them all day at work). I did read what Shaun posted but I didn't read where he threatened you. There has been a lot of smack talkin in this thread but it has remained friendly up until today when you entered. I ask that you and everyone else does not continue on this path so that the post can be spared...if it's not to late.

    BTW my name is Kenny.

What's the bookies phone number for the booze bets going on here? I want in on this action.
Like REO Speedwagon said "Talk is cheap when the story is good"

It ain't going to happen A TWIN AT 36 lbs. You guys ought to go work at Dreamworks.

What does "structural limit exceeded mean to you" aaah rapid deceleration syndrome.

Get the crash trucks rolling I mean cameras rolling.

    Shaun,
This is my original post. It clearly has inflammed your sensibilities, but exaclty where did I diminish your project? I have taken the position that you will not be successful and would like to get in on the wager that Buck has made.

Normally when one takes a position either for or against something he or she enjoys certain privledges. I enjoy the right to make cat calls and boo at the opposing team. Like a Yankees fan boos at a Red Soxs player or team.
Should the Red Sox player be hurt when he goes to bat when the Yankee fans boo at him? Sounds to me like a case of the spoiled sport.
You have kicked dirt, thrown the bat, cried foul play, slaped the ball boy and you haven't even swung the bat yet. I might reserve that behavior untill after I struck out. What do you think?
I am sorry you don't like the fact I am taking a bet against your success. Most people when they gamble make a educated guess based on past performance of the player or players. I am taking my educated guess and taking a chance. I don't think you can do it as per Bucks' original bet.

There is another possible outcome. You might have taken the Pepsi challenge, rallied to the cause an made me eat crow as your F-18 weighted in before the championship fight! But, I fear you chose the less impressive path; name calling and attempted character assasination the whole banana.
I am willing to gamble my hard earned money on a case of Corona. I will cheer for the outcome I have bet on, it only seems logical.
If that speech didn't get you how about the grammar anology. You would bet against me if I entered into a grammar contest. How could I begrudge you for wanting me to lose if you bet against me?

Cheer up you have work to do

    Matt,

my bet is 36lbs dry not AMA legal 40+. I'm not sure what other side bets are going on.

    "hit me....Sir, you have 20.....hit me...Sir, you have 20......bring it....23........damn"

"hit me....Sir, you have 21....you heard me...."

Actual conversation between my buddy and the dealer, many many nights ago. Buck we'll be up 5 hundy by midnight.....sure we will, let's call it a night Juicy

that's what I interpreted was the attainable weight. I don't see it but I never would have believed an F-117 could take to the air also.

like I said previously, I'm either buying a case of Corona or we're drinking Scotch!! either way we're celebrating something.

PS did you see Justin's cat pix in the other thread. man I couldn't stop laughing for atleast 2 minutes.

    So.....

Anybody wanna bet a case of Corona??

I will take you up on this one. Build it with two P-120's, make the weight, fly and land it and you have 10 cases of Corona.

Right here. This was the original bet.

    Kenny,
I think you have a great project going. I am not betting against your success just your weight. I have no issues with you. I have the utmost respect for what you are doing. I wish all the success cause there are plenty of things working against us everytime we take to the air. I posted something you and Shaun didn't like, clearly you two are not happy but it was in the spirit of the bet. Like the post I make to Shaun, I reserve the right
