I am on the lookout for an 80" Spitfire ARF or airframe to put a Brison 2.4 in. I just purchased the engine from the RCU MARKETPLACE, though I have yet to receive it. I am aware of the WM Spitfire, but I don't like it much. I would rather the TF P51 than this or maybe the WM Zero. If you have any other ideas, please let me know. Hellcats are nice too and the P47 Razorback, but I would think these to be even rarer and harder to find than a decent 80" Spitfire...

Thanks for any ideas.

How about this. An 80" Spitfire ARF from World Models. Haven't heard anything about this plane though.

I really have to settle on an ARF at my fledgling stage of building expertise. My favorite plane is the Spitfire (Brian Taylor, of course). My favorite Giant scale ARFs are the TF P-51, World Models Zero. If Top Flite builds a Spitfire ARF as nicely done as the P-51 it's a done deal. Until then I will keep looking. Maybe Hangar 9 will come out with a Giant scale Spit ARF!
