The 60A Polks ESC I ordered from Polks has just arrived this morning.

On the package label it states it is suitable for use with up to 10 cells
and in the instruction manual it states it is suitable for only up to 8 cells and 9.6V.
please let me know which is correct?

Status: offline 		I believe it it 8 cells or 9.6 volts. I will confirm it if I can next week with our engineers. Sorry for the crossed information.

Status: offline 		This is to confirm that the manual is correct and the label was made incorrectly. The 9.6v is the max.

Is that a voltage limitation of the mosfets or is it due to the BEC voltage regulator getting too hot?
In other words, if I don't use BEC can I use more cells as on other BEC type ESC's?
Sorry about the 20 questions, but there wasn't much in the way of useful specs with the ESC.
