Status: offline 		i have seen the electric version of the bike, but if i get one, i want the nitro powered one. i saw in a magazine recently that thunder tiger was going to offer a nitro model, and that the electric version would have a nitro conversion available also. does anyone have that nouva faor bike? does anyone know a website i can find more information about these machines? how about distributors? thanks

yes there is a nitro conversion for the tt bike but i would suggest go with the SF501

Status: offline 		do you have the SF501? that machine is going to be very expensive after you buy the mill, pipe, which i have not seen a price for, and all the radio gear. i was thinking that the thunder tiger would be a little more refined. i have seen the electric version of the thunder tiger and it looks sweet. i just ordered a savage ss so that i can curb my impulse to own something new.

Status: offline 		let us know how it turns out. i was reading that the steering servo turns in the opposite direction that you turn the wheel/stick. like riding a mountain bike, if you are riding in a straight line, bump your handlebar one way, and the bike dives the other way....crazy

Status: offline 		It's known as counter-steering in the motorcycle (or anything with 2 wheels and a single track) world. It has to do with the centrifugal force from the rotation of the front wheel. I'm interested to see how the TT bike performs, I may also purchase one if the reviews are good.

Status: offline 		I and a friend got TT bikes last year and have a blast with them. Steering is not like a car, when you turn the forks turn the opposite direction and the bikes weight makes it tilt in the proper direction. Apply throttle and the bike rights itself,good handling is achieved by balancing steering and throttle input=challenging and rewarding fun. New tires are a good investment,stock tires are ok on concrete, asphalt is a little slicker but can be fun powersliding.

Status: offline 		Currently using an 11x2, steering dampener helps with mod motors, most people use an offroad shock with no oil.
www.crazynutracing.com has tires,wheels, and other stuff.
www.internetrc.com has some stuff.
Nouva Faor parts fits TT, only non interchangeable item is chain and sprockets,NF is metric, TT is .25 std chain.

Status: offline 		ehobbies.com sells all the spare parts for the TT, and internet-rc.com sells all the spare parts for the NF (many are not listed but you can special order them - they take 2 weeks to ship from overseas but you will only be charged the std. shipping cost).

Status: offline 		i mean that if you turn the wheel on the controller to the left, the servo (reversed) will actually turn the front wheel of the bike to the right. try riding a bicycle and while riding in a straight line, bump the handlebar to the right, and the bike will dive to the left. you must then correct the direction of the machine, cause otherwise you will eat dirt.

Status: offline 		Ahh, I see what you're trying to say. Sorta trying to turn a bike like a car..somewhat. Where a car leans to the outside of the turn and a bike leans into a turn.
