we will be sorry to see you leave if you get the hpi, but that controller is a great one.
is the SS all hopped up? if not you will acutally spend about the same in option parts if not more, but it is a more up to date car then ours.
TAM,
i am in in the process of changing my servos over right now, i just picked up the hitec 645(thought 925) for my steering and i have a stock 3003(futaba) for my throttle. i will let you know about the changes some time next week, for now my car is down. 8(
oh i also switched to fm but i was given a futaba 2peka radio.

just came to check to see if GABs put up the pictures.
Mil,
keep your street force, i can point you in the right direction, and you will be happy about your car. i honestly thought the same thing when i found out about duratrax but i changed my mind when i found all the different companies and colors you can choose from, well blue or purple or chrome.
and almost any hpi fits the car, just hav to check the size.

Digi,
Ok, well I will continue to try and sort out my SFGP my friend isnt in a hurry to sell his Rs4 so I got all the time I need. I got 2 main problems with my car #1 my steering will not resume center after I take a turn, I always have to use the remote trim to get it straight again everytime. #2 I think my engine is way out of tune and I dont have that much experience to tell what to do. The car will not stay still or creap slowly at idle it just wants to zoom off. If you know from your own experience some aftermarket parts that help my steering situation please tell me as that is what really gets me pissed . I just wanted to have an enjoyable car IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK!!!

MIL,
i can help you with the throttle problem, cause i had the same problem with mine. its got to do with your throttle servo. the L shape servo horn needs to be readjusted. unloosen the screw, pull it up and move the L shape a few notches counter clockwise. this shoudl help you out in that problem.
about the steering i am not sure, i bought my car used and one of the first things thati changed was the steering bellcrank. get the one for the rs4 not 3rd edition- if you buy anything make sure it is from the nitro rs4 or rs42 rtr or kit. not 3rd edition.
i am not sure if the pro stuff fits, thats electric.
TAM. glad to see you get some parts for the car, what did you pick up?
you can get my email address from here.
i will return with old pics of mine. (there really bad).
FYI: should be gettin in the servo- hope to be running FM in a few days, will let you know if the steering is alot better with a better servo.(MIL)

Yo Digi, a guy I know told me that my servo saver is probably weak which is not getting back to center. You think that could be it.

MIL,
your friend is probably right. either upgrade it or take it apart and clean it out. i would just upgrade it. the servos that they send you in the car ar not all that great for the steering.
TAM,
you are better getting them from towers or taking the parts # to your LHS and have them order it for you.
i ripped a belt the other day to, mine was the side.
GAB,
those pics that i sent you were from a camera fone. maybe you can make them bigger. sorry about not being able to see what i changed. do what you can with them and if you cant still put them up. i will try and get my hands on another camera fone.
the car is apart now.

GABRY YGM

Also if I drill holes in the brake disk would it increase or decrease the car's performance.

Thanks,
Tam
