I had to put 3/4 of a pound to get mine at 5 3/4 back. You can go back as far as 6 1/4 on the cg.
I think I will take some of the lead out and move my cg back around 6.

What does yours weigh?

I've been flying mine for about a year it's 27.5 pounds with a DA 100 and a three servo swb tray. I had the same problem with the CG. I put two 2700 packs and a 1650 pack up by the engine box. Mine balanced 3/4" back from what the print says and it flies fine. It would probably snap better with some nose weight but if all you want to do is 3d you'll be fine. Let us know how she flies.

Good luck
Albert Santiago
