Glad to see the gear turned out ok for you.... I'll get the other ones done for the meeting this weekend. I've been trying to get over the flu so I haven't been at work this week at all. To prove that I've really been sick I haven't worked on a plane since last Friday night.

I guess Randy E. has my R200 done and will be bringing it to the meeting on Saturday.... That should just about round out the lineup for the begining of 2005 anyway.

Rumor has it that Randy has built 9 - R200 planes already this year. Just hope composites don't get banned at the meeting on Saturday, it could outlaw a lot of planes...

Randy, Looks like a Lawlor Ashly to me.

Tim Lawlor (Mr. VMAX) also has a set of molds for his version of the Miss ashley Q40. It is slightly different than the Rusty Ashley but supposedly a good flier.

Its not to difficult to mount pictures, the biggest problem is most pictures are too big (too many pixles).

If you have any sort photo editor, resize the picture to roughly 680x480 this is about as big as you can do. Alot of times, if you just crop the subject of the picture well, you can get it down to the right size.

When you reply to a post, theres a little box that says something like Upload pictures which opens up 4 boxes that you can put a path to the file picture. Or you can just use the browse button next to the box to put it in there.

Let me know when you have the pics, and I can walk you through it.

I'm with you Jesse.... I have enough woodies for club racing and if I run out, its nothing a quick run to the Hobby Warehouse for a Viper won't fix. I'm hoping it won't come to that but all it takes is a bad first race and..... Well, you know the rest

Someone should buy those molds off of Tim Lawlor and start making that plane again. He would probably take about $3K for the Q40 molds.. And I bet he would take less than $5K for the Vmax and Ashley molds.

The V-Max is a very good airplane, and competitive with anything currently available. Chip Hyde used the original V-Max2 to set the record with a high 1:03 in about 2000.
