I tok these pics on Thursday and on Friday I was doing some high speed runs to retune the Go.21 3 port as i'd raised the compression to the right level by removing 0.02 from the 0.05 thats o the engine as standard, after around 40 mins running and a perfect tune with great idle, the conrod let go at full chat and destroted the piston, liner and crankcase

This was on 25% Byron Gen 2 fuel aand it was originally shimmed for 30% fuel.To say I was gutted would be putting it mildly, anyway a new engine of the same is being ordered tomorrow so all is well with the world.New Edit decals fitted,I like the plainer look of white shells, very clinical when the white rims are on,these are the Ofna wheels nd Proline Badlands....

Thanks man !
Yeah kinda storm trooperish.

Hey, can I use any other 17mm wheel nuts for it as well ?
Losi has only blue and red. Would love to get rid of these
and I gotta swap out the blue antenna too tonight.

I think you're right but wouldn't that leave the shock caps and the threaded collars
exposed ? I will do that on the bottom definitely but I'll have to experiment on the
tops. Thanks for the tip and the compliment!

We learn something every day.

yea it does leave the shock caps and the threads exposed but i have mine set as soft as possible so my threads dont show but the shock cap is still exposed. why dont you want the shock cap exposed? i understand why you wouldnt want the thread exposed(when they get dirty it becomes hard to adjust the shocks)
